Her voice bothers me.  I like the lyrics, but her voice... I don't know what it is.

Her voice sounds like someone is choking a goat.

Nicely done. We will have 2 new Stevie fans in short order.

If my wife couldn't turn me into a Stevie Nicks fan, what makes you think BEG could?

The boss that I had, when I was 15 and working in a restaurant in Saratoga Springs, was hot for Stevie Nicks.  Direct quote--"As long as I have a face, Stevie Nicks has a place to sit."  He died of pancreatic cancer a few years ago.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Something about her voice I have loved-----Then the one song that for some reason is my favorite, don't know the titel but is starts out with, Listen to the wind blow.

Something prime evil in here, a voice that gets under my skin and makes me want to hear more.  She sings laments and loss in a way no other has, she can go from sadness to full out anger then back to sadness.

Put me down as a fan of Stevie, a one of a kind.

Yeah, the nanny goat thing is what I'd always thought of when I heard her sing. She's easy on the eyes, and in context her voice isn't offensive, say to the extent that Florence Foster Jenkins' voice was offensive, but vibrato like that sounds contrived, fake, and utterly fabricated.

Yeah, she sings in tune but then again, so does my dog.  :-)

Check out Florence's "Queen of the Night" aria on her Wiki page - it's gruesome - if you dare:

Sorry, I guess I should have clarified, since in your world CD means cross-dresser, not compact disc.

I've got quite a few too.  In fact I burn music that I download to CDs sometimes.   DVDs are also good for making backup copies of mp3 files.
