Have to sort of agree, times have changed.
Last Xmas party Hubby and I attended there was a new worker that had come to work since I retired. A new man hubby worked with, it was only when someone at the table called the new guy a SHE that I did a double take and was surprised that the He was a She.
I had known HE's that dressed in drag and were better looking then most woman but this was the first time I had seen a She/He.
No one seemed the least bit taken back, just another worker that did their job well. Me I was fascinated about how this female had managed to learn to walk from the knee as a man does--woman walk from the hip--- and how there was no one questioning their using the men's room. Just another guy except they did not adjust themselves leaving the men's room.
Must say the new guy was on the dance floor all night and danced with all the younger woman that thought they knew how to dance, [he ] put them to shame.
Now for me a former Nurse that worked with Gay male Orderlies and though I knew the Gay culture, this part I had never seen. This was not the Lesbian life style, this was something else, the transgender life, and every one took it to be mean nothing, the worker was good at their job and no dick under their pants was of no concern to them.
New world for me, I was suspicious years ago when the commander of Hubby's Boat was single and claimed to be a Jesuit, today we know some of our best leaders after retirement have come out of the closet.
So unless a Barny Frank, a gay corrupt person pops up, who knows look at the hetrosexuals that have done worse then him. New world, or old world we are just finding out about today.
