Similar goals, well yeah. All you "progressives" want is more ability to control everyone else.  You just differ on the exact mechanics of how to implement it.

If so, that's the only good thing about them.

But I think over the past twenty years or so, W and his dad probably put more muzzies in the ground than just about anyone.

It's hard to imagine how much misery the civilized world has avoided due to their courage.
