Nads is feeling the love

I feel so sorry for Nadin, perhaps her first language is not English

but she was a very vocal member on here for so many issues! Guess there is no other way to tell her am so sorry for the way she has been treated except on here.

Nadin, if you are reading this message, be well and take care, perhaps you can message me if you wish to chat offline.

Be well fellow DUer!

http://www.democraticunderground.com/124052066

Oh ignorant one, perhaps her first language is not AMERICAN English.    There is a distinction you know.... of course what am I saying, suffice it to say you wouldn't know would you?

15. She has made no secret of the fact that English is her second language

(grew up in Mexico, IIRC) and that she is dyslexic. So, Nadin can read and write in one more language than most of us here, but the letters in a word or sentence do a weird jiggy dance in front of her eyes where they change places and make it tough to proofread anything well.

The way she dealt with the taunts and provocations over the years is a matter I won't go into now. I have given her unsolicited advice once and won't do it again, because I know it comes across as demeaning even if the advice is helpful and professional.

Anyway, I like what you said there, Blue. It's very close to what I've observed, though I could say a lot more.

Nads is dyslexic?   Is that on the resume?   (note -- not believing for one second she is dyslexic FYI).

Words don't do a "weird jiggy dance" to someone with dyslexia:

Symptoms

A person with DRD may have trouble rhyming and separating sounds that make up spoken words. These abilities appear to be critical in the process of learning to read. A child's initial reading skills are based on word recognition, which involves being able to separate out the sounds in words and match them with letters and groups of letters.

Because people with DRD have difficulty connecting the sounds of language to the letters of words, they may have difficulty understanding sentences.

True dyslexia is much broader than simply confusing or transposing letters, for example mistaking ”b” and “d.".

In general, symptoms of DRD may include:

Difficulty determining the meaning (idea content) of a simple sentence

Difficulty learning to recognize written words

Difficulty rhyming

DRD may occur in combination with writing or math learning problems.

Nice try though Nads.   She appears to have no problem with the google, reading articles, throwing foreign articles through google translator.....  the misfits just need for there to be a problem don't they?

I was diagnosed with dyslexia in 2nd grade. It was called mirror imaging. I wrote complexly backwards, not only the letters but the words too.  If you held it up to a mirror is was completely right. I couldn't read but excelled in math.

I have not been diagnosed but wonder.  I can be sitting here writing down a number and all of a sudden I will write it backwards or mix them up.   Very strange.

I haven't been over to Skins's island for a couple of days, ever since nadin last bullied people who didn't worship her.  Did she really go away, or at least has she really been absent?  If so, thank you, God.

Son it will become a bannable offense to disagree with or hurt the tender feelings of Nads at the DUmp.  She already has her own personal hit squad to report meanies to via their private messaging system.  Will the DUmmies let her get away with posting more of her lies and nonsense without challenge?

She apparently isn't feeling the love she feels she's entitled to since just yesterday she continues with her threat of withholding her worthy and exalted posts and opinions.  DUmmies needs to ante up with that outpouring of adoration and get rid of the Nads-irritating jury system 'cause She doesn't like it.  She could have put Obamanaut on ignore all those years that she claimed he was bullying her, but only now, after such drama, threats of doing herself harm, threats of suing Skinner, does she proclaim it to be a solution to her Problem.

DUmmies are so damn gullible!

Star Member nadinbrzezinski (101,901 posts) Profile Journal Send DU Mail Ignore
390. I know he has done that,
and will have to take screen shots.'
Now we are also on mutual ignore... which is a solution to the problem. It is not ideal, but if one party puts a person on ignore, the other should be automatically put on ignore too.
Yes, I know it is far from ideal... and I can see where that could be a problem.
In reality 90% of people who are put on ignore will stop posting on threads... perhaps even higher.
As to the editing... I do love it, it allows for me to add, or correct myself...
And yes, juries are doing that, and it is making the place harder to be at.
These days, I am even thinking of just mostly playing on small forums, and posting important news stories and that is it.
I have been enjoying the photography forum, for example, a lot. And we have been having a good conversation on kit.

For any lurking DUchebags, why do you hate other view points being brought to your attention?

Is it because your viewpoints are indefensible or because you know your viewpoints are indefensible?

DUmb****s are always welcome here and at other conservative sights. In fact, we clamor to debate our ideas and view points.

If your view points are so great why do you shun all criticism of them?

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I nadined "nadinbrzezinski+dyslexia" and got 14,500 examples of her mentioning it, it looks like it has gotten worst lately.  She doesn't know why.  She has also blamed the auto-correct feature on her Ipad several times.
