Obama: I've got 'five years' left to solve immigration

In an interview with Univision Radio, President Barack Obama said that he has "five years" left in his presidency to figure out issues like comprehensive immigration reform. Striking a confident note about his reelection prospects, Obama assured a largely Hispanic audience that he has not given up on getting an immigration bill done — one that would provide a pathway to citizenship.

"My presidency is not over," Obama told Univision's Eddie “Piolin” Sotelo. "I’ve got another five years coming up. We’re going to get this done."

Obama also said that Hispanic voters would ultimately face an easy choice in deciding between him and the Republican nominee in November — emphasizing his support for comprehensive immigration reform and a pathway to citizenship.

"So far, ... we haven’t seen any of the Republican candidates even support immigration reform. In fact, their leading candidate said he would veto even the DREAM Act, much less comprehensive immigration reform," Obama said, in an apparent reference to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. "So the choice at the presidential level will not be that difficult."

Damn he's just as delusional as the idiots at DU.
Even if he gets another term, he won't have it solved by then. He didn't do what he promised in his first, so how will the second be any different?

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

That is correct - He is pandering to his new, reduced base. Criminals. - I can only imagine its because the attempt to reignite the battle of the sexes isn't going quite as well as he hoped.

It's a pity the step-n-fetchers at Univision didn't have the balls to ask about all the Mexicans Obama has killed with Fast & Furious.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

It will be interesting and scary to see what kind of temper tantrum 0bama throws after his loss. The EOs will be flying.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Obama is racist.  Saying all hispanics support comprehensive immigration reform is about like saying all blacks support the welfare state.  It just happens that there are plenty of reasons why a person of hispanic derivation might tend to oppose immigration reform.

Obama is racist.

Of course he is - the moment he spit out 'typical white person' - to refer to his grandmother -, the world knew it - but swept it under the rug.

I'm still waiting to learn what a 'typical white person' is, and why it isn't racist to refer to one as such, whereas I would bet the farm that the phrase 'typical [nonwhite] person' is an absolutely racist sentiment.

Don't know if that'll work at all. He's tryin' to dictate to the Catholic church, and many Hispanics are devout catholics! He might be pissin' up a rope!

Exactly. A lot of Tejano and legal immigrants in Texas don't support illegal immigration. They actually pay taxes that then illegals leech from. Many, if not most, of the LEO's in the border counties in Texas are of Mexican descent and are having to go balls-to-the-wall with AR-15's from all the illegal drug runners invading their counties. Hell, I think most of the county sheriffs in those counties have Hispanic names.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Only 46% of Hispanic voters in Florida support the Commander-in-Chief for re-election against an unnamed Republican opponent, compared to 57% when Obama ran four years ago, according to a new poll.

Survey done by the Hispanic Leadership Network, Jan 2012.

I dunno. The current leadership of the Repubs are spineless pussies tryin' to make the MSM like them! Until we get away from the DC Good 'Ol Boy network, and our leaders grow some nads, I doubt we can get anything accomplished.
