Grapefruit!!!

Local store has them on sale at $5 for 10lbs. Texas Rio Star!! Not real big but juicy and sweet, I peel them like an orange and ENJOY.

Am I the only one that does this?

1. Texas grapefruit rules!

Yes, I used to peel & eat like oranges. So delicious!

3. Darn, was at grocery story 1 hour ago and forgot to look!

Will try tomorrow. Don't recall seeing Texas-labeled grapefruit for quite a few years, and DO remember how good they are!

5. I eat them like that!

Lord, I miss grapefruit. I'm only eating fruits one day a week, on Sunday I had a couple of them peeled like that. I'm already looking forward to next Sunday's grapefruits.

6. One of my favorite fruits to just sit and eat.

I'm jealous of the price you got!

You know, after the hippywife primitive Mrs. Alfred Packer departed from Skins's island, Lucinda took over her job as being the mover-and-shaker, the inspirator, of the cooking and baking forum; the one who makes it move along nicely.

There's a problem however.

Despite that Lucinda does a really good job--no criticism from franksolich here, not an iota--the forum's still pretty sluggish, nothing as it was when Mrs. Alfred Packer was around.

I finally figured it out.  Lucinda's a nice person, a positive person, while the hippywife primitive was full of barely-disguised Hate and intolerance; trust me, Mrs. Alfred Packer was not a nice person.

Well, to succeed on Skins's island, one needs to be Hate-filled and intolerant, and so probably that's why Lucinda, even though she tries very hard and puts a lot of time and trouble into the forum, hasn't succeeded as well as Mrs. Alfred Packer did.
