A friend of mine purchased a ticket from Delta online. She made a typo with one letter in the last name. When she realized the mistake she called. Since the name on the ticket has to match your ID exactly, Delta was kind enough to fix it for $50. Gotta love the airlines.

If you're too stupid to know your own last name or spell it correctly, well, so be it.  Stupidity SHOULD be painful.  And expensive.

Frequent fliers don't have to worry about that shit.  Whip out the FF ID, and the whole page is populated for you, automatically.  Amazing how that works.

And no, Delta wouldn't have charged to fix a name.  I smells the bullshit from here.

Only Delta pilots are union.  Everyone else is non union.  Even the NW people we got voted their union out.  That was a funny story there. Actually, Delta wouldn't charge for a nake change.  The idiot probably screwed up the flight info. Or just wanted to change flights.

I've booked online before, and they always show you yer info so you can proof it! She not only screwed it up the first time, but missed it on the proof read!!!

Gotta luv them DUmmies! Couldn't find their ass with both hands!
