OK, so I'm sure most, if not all of us, are aware that Josh Powell (strongly suspected of killing his wife several years ago) killed his 2 sons and himself a couple of weeks ago. The boys were buried in a single grave this past weekend. Josh's parents want him buried near the boys he killed. Police officers and Crime Stoppers have purchased the plots on either side of the boys to prevent Josh from being buried next to them. The boys' maternal grandparents are filing a retraining order to keep him from being buried in the same cemetery as the boys.

Grandparents want rights, some States give it to them some don't. Some grandparent should not have any rights to see children when they use the time to try to turn the kids against one parent. Using money and bad talk against one parent they can destroy any relationship a child has with a parent. When the child goes home the kids resent the parent and cause bloody hell.
Then there are the grandparents that fear for the children and just want to get them to a safe place. They take the kids in, get them in school, give them security and 3-4 years later one parent wants them back for perhaps the extra income from the state, hell of a nightmare for aging people to go through, nightmare for the grandparents and the children.
This case is extreme, Gina, far from the usual Grandparents against their own child or parent of their Grand kids. So many of us take in our grandkids at one time or another, we fear for their safety and do so no questions asked.
This is a case of most unusual circumstances, the Grandparents daughter is missing, the father is acting and speaking odd, and as the parents of their mother know something is amiss.
The grandparents of two boys want to know where their daughter is, the father of the male parent is acting outrageous towards the mothers family he is given a keep away order by the court toward the Grandparents, the parents of the missing mother.
The Grandparents give up all, their retirement funds, their lives to care for their daughters children. Then along come the courts that give the kids back to the father. Can anyone imagine the stress the Grandparents went through seeing the sons of their missing daughter leave them to live with their father and his father that have caused them all this pain??
Someone has tipped the grandparents off to the fact the father is living with his father that is into kiddy porn. OH SHIT. THE COURT orders the kids to live elsewhere with their dad or at least not be around the fathers Dad that the father lives with.
Now the kids Maternal grandparents go all out for the safety of the little boys, and head to court. Here is where it gets SICK, the court allowes the father to see his boys in a home setting, not a public place say a restaurant or public park.
We know what followed, insanity.
For those of us who have taken in grand kids for a short time or a long time, this is our greatest fear. Who can even imagine this from the parent/ male or female to become so EVIL and there is nothing we can do about it.
My prayers go to the parents that lost a daughter, tried to save her children and the courts and social workers could do nothing
There is worse things in then death, these Grandparents have been to Hell before they died.
