There can always be something unexpected but I think the Prez has this one under control.

He needs to continue to be Presidential but against this crop of RePub losers...

With the way things are today how can you argue against raising taxes on the rich??? It's just too easy to pick apart.

The President should pick battles with EXTREME caution and continue to let the clowns do his work for him. I see another 4 for Obama.

$4/gallon gas, unemployment >8%, inflation hitting the grocery cart, US Debt/Deficit going through the roof,  yeah it is a guaranteed landslide for Obama in all 57 states.

Gallup released a poll about unemployment today & they've been a leading indicator...they say it's going to go up to 9% and gas will be at or close to $5 a gallon. That doesn't bode well for the boy king's prospects. That, and his continued flaunting of the Constitution keeps building and building and it's not just political junkies that notice. 0bamacare is more unpopular than ever and he's just doubling down on it. Still, I'm not totally sold on our candidates. Santorum kinda scares me. Not because of his conservatism but his milquetoastiness (I know, not a word but the best I can think of to describe it). I wouldn't mind a brokered convention although it carries risk as well. My candidate decided not to run but at this point Newt comes the closest. That's not working out so well either. I'd vote for Romney, I'd probably even make phone calls but only because 0bama needs to go.

Here's what I'm having trouble grasping.  obutthole is arriving in So Cal later today for a fundraiser dinner tonight where the tickets are $35,000 each and a breakfast tomorrow at the some of a real estate developer with tix costing $2,500 each.  How can this jackass wage all out war on the wealthy and still get them to pay these costs to be seen with him?  Are these self loathing rich people whose self opinion is so low that they have to pay to be seen with the president to validate their lives?  

And why so much to have breakfast or dinner with the guy?  Can any of the 99%ers who he says he identifies with pay these prices to be with him?

Because in the world of the left you don't have to actually implement your promise, you just have to say the words and pretend it's the most important thing in the world. Besides, the big money donors know they'll get a few billion dollars for a new solar plant or something else to pass the time. 0bama is the master of crony capitalism but because he hides what he passes out to banking & investment buddies and promotes destined-to-fail green energy and industries that save union jobs the left thinks he cares. They're always fooled by pretty words.

In 2004 the MSM could get one to think that even while doing fantastic that there were many that were doing poorly. That a propaganda machine for the DNC can do. However, convincing people who are hurting economically that it is all roses and to vote for the dreamy lord 0bama? Nope not even a full on 120% in the tank for their boyfriend can do that.

The only thing keeping gas prices as low as they are (Yeah, I know, it doesn't seem "Low") is economic stagnation depressing demand, as soon as the economy starts moving at all, they'll go up drastically, possibly that has already started.  It'll be a race between growth and depressive effect of spiking energy prices to see whether the economic recovery starts substantially speeding up, or stalls out due to rapid price rises in everything that requires energy, i.e., everything (Which so far has been a 'Recovery' mostly in the technical sense used by economists, not what Main Street would call a 'Recovery').

It doesn't really matter how Team Obama frames unemployment numbers. If one can't find a job, or has given up looking for one, one's personal unemployment number is 100%. Many of those who voted for Obama who are now 100% unemployed won't make that mistake again - especially if he or she had a job during the ' Terrible Bush EconomyTM '

I'm filling up my gas tank tomorrow.  The car isn't empty, but premium is shooting up to $4 a gallon soon.  It's sitting on $3.90 right now.  Guess I should fill up before I have to start paying $4+ per gallon again.  Food prices are ridiculously high.  Unemployment?  Oh, well, that's fine and dandy!  It's ONLY 8.3% (or whatever it's sitting at right now).  Las Vegas home prices are still sliding to the lowest lowest lowest lows ever.

He's dun a good job.  ::)
