Okay, time for the quarterly poll, so as to gauge the effectiveness of the DUmpster here on conservativecave.

Do we discombobulate, bother, distress, irritate the primitives on Skins's island?

Or do we have no impact upon them at all?

I used to think we stirred them up, but I think that less and less any more.

Two things: the substantially decreased traffic on Skins's island, and the primitives are more used to us, and hence more blase about us; even the old dude doesn't "shout out" like he used to, and Pedro Picasso's noted us less and less.

If one's answer is "no," can one suggest means of putting a burr under the primitives' saddles, so as to animate them?

Bad thing.
The primatives have modified their behavior.
Poor DUmpmonkeys speak to each other less than neighbors of a NYC apartment complex.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Most definitely there's a discombobulation, and on balance it's a bad thing.

The main basis for being a democrat is envy. Their most fundamental core value is hatred for anyone who has more of anything than they do.

So, for a normal person it's hilarious to watch them rip into the newly crowned Top DUmmy each year.

The downside is that the second half of each year a half dozen or so really entertaining lunatics go all out competing for DOTY, and then when they lose, they just disappear.

Disappearance of the losing contenders is a bad, bad thing, and makes the DUmp boring as hell.

This year, thankfully, nutcase nadin is still running in high gear. If she doesn't flame out, she may save the day.

I get the feeling that the DUmmies are an endangered species. There seems to be less variety as they devolve into nadinosaureses and triStinkytops.

We may realize, only too late, that DU3 is an extinction level event in the happening.

That's my fear, too.

Two things: according to the primitives (I have no way of verifying this, but--), traffic on Skins's island has declined 25% since the introduction of the new DU, and there's the upcoming elections that probably aren't going to be favorable for the primitives.

I hope the former isn't true, and the latter is.

I think Skinner has over reached and ended up alienating the primitives.
So its possible DU island just may sink beneath the waves.

Two things.
1) there are ALWAYS new sites to mine. I think Daily Kos would be horrified to learn we are watching them.
a diversity of sites may just be a good thing.

2) The primitives...FLOAT. They would then decend upon all the other democrat websites and polute the forums with their lunacy: in an election year!

understanding the end results of point 2, the powers that be will appoint a new head and a new forum just for the crazies. And ya know, they could do a lot worse than to hire Frank here (but I doubt he comes cheap).

There's no rule against bringing comedy material from sites other than Skins's island to the DUmpster; in fact, if one stumbles upon promising talent, one's encouraged to show it.

The deal for me, personally, is that the primitives on Skins's island suit me, personally, like a pair of comfortable old shoes; that's why I rarely, if ever, bring stuff here from other sites infested with comedic lunacy, although as already mentioned, it's perfectly fine for others to do that, if they want.

The primitives take a lot of getting used to, and after one's used to them, one thinks, "Oh no, I don't want to go through another 'learning experience;' I'll just stick with this....."

Absolutely right, sir, but I'm not for sale at any price.  Unlike the primitives, franksolich has a conscience; a truly living, vibrant, vigorous conscience.

What DU really needs in order to thrive, is the repukes to take over all of the government. Only then will DUmmyland return to her glory days of the Chimpy administration.

Part of the problem is, they worked so hard (well their definition of work), to get 0bama elected and here we are 3 years later, and we aren't a socialist utopia. So they are pissed, and they know they can only express part of how they feel at DUmmyland, or get banned. So they either find other sites where they can get away with actually criticizing democrats, or they just lash out over stupid shit.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

I have changed my position since the last poll- between DU3 and the removal of the 'sites that shall not be named' blacklist, I think its great that we discombobulate them.

Because they don't know what to do about it now, which discombobulates them even more.

I don't think so. He has alienated a lot of moonbats, but there's no reason for him to care.

Before, three-quarters were paying him $5 a year, now half of them will be shelling out $40.

Even with a 25-30% drop in traffic, he's making out like a bandit.

And the reduction in the DUmmy population is likely to be very temporary.

Where are they going to go? There are lots of moonbat sites, but not many that will tolerate the kind of lunatic Skimmer encourages.

The DUmpmonkeys are losers from birth to the grave, and Skimmer has them screwed just like everything else in life.

Man, I have to say this is awesome.

For whatever reasons, I have problems articulating--putting into words--things I think, and here you come to my rescue, saying in words what I also think, but somehow can't get out.

 :agree:

You hit exactly on what I was thinking.  We win if they swim off the island and pollute other website's wells with their stupidity, and we win if they continue to hang around Skin's Island, and entertain us.
