My apologies to du
For whatever, but from now on all you get are simple, easy to digest stories. In my view this place, like most Americans, can't handle complex anything.

My interests are diverging quickly from what matters to DU'ers... They did a long time ago...but my mind is not all at all consumed by partisan distractions. Rather I am interested by the high level corruption affecting the country, party independent. As well as the kinds of games that lead to geography lessons in this country.

I notice that yes, indeed, our interests diverged a while ago. I m not into team sports.

And silly season just makes this place ten times as insuferable at times.

So yes, OWS is part of my interests, as well as voter supression, and violation of the voters rights act. I see it for what it is, power structure against the people. In some places that's dems, in others it's republicans.

It really does not matter, end of empire and changing population densities are predictable. Such is life.

So, from now on, dog bytes man...that is the level of complexity...or Romney does gaff (entertaining). Or some cheer leading. This place used to be very different...with growth it's become like everywhere else...it is...predictable. So while you watch the Super Bowl, remember politics is just one more team sport...

I just laugh. Seems every other month Nadin has a "24 business hour" moment. A real apology would have done wonders for her. But her condensation and superiority makes her getting called out by her own fellows all the more sweet.

I don't think either one of them can come out and admit they were wrong.  To them that would be tantamount to admitting to failure.

Their ego's will never allow them to (1) be themselves, they will always try to be something they are not, and (2) never give themselves a chance for introspection, which IMO allows a person to grow.
