Super Bowl XLVI picks

It's Super Bowl Week finally. Not getting into this one much because both teams are from yankeeland, but I guess I expect the Pats to win it all.

Giants win this one. Both teams have explosive offenses, but Giants win the defensive round. Pats defense isn't that good. Matter of fact, they suck.

This is going to be one of those one sided Super bowl's.  The GIANTS are going to send whining Tom Brady home to his America hating wife!  Hopefully in a cast!
"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

I expect it to be a close game between the Giants and Patriots, but THE JOOS will win it on a last minute interception return.

I haven't watched a Super Bowl since the Shufflin' Crew beat the Patriots in '86.

Most overhyped game ever.  It even came with it's own music video.

You ain't alone with that. Once in awhile if I'm channel-flipping I might run across the Super Bowl. I turn it off when the game is on and flip back when a commercial is running.

I think the Giants (Eli) will eat up the Pats secondary...they've been exposed all season. Their offense is just better than most defenses can handle. I believe the Giants pass rush will get to Brady, he will go down. And if Grotkowski (not spelled right, I'm sure) doesn't play, the Pats offense will not be as dynamic. Giants win...

I'm not really a fan of either team; so I don't care who wins. As long as it is as exciting as their last Super Bowl ('07 IIRC) I'll be happy.

I want Eli to blow the Pats out so bad he goes home and "celebrates" with Abby for the next week. ...and in 18 years, we'll have another 5-Star Manning coming to Oxford.

Peyton has children. Twins; a boy and a girl IIRC.

BTW..being a GA Bulldog fan, I could not STAND Peyton. I grew to respect him (and actually like him) as I watched him play for Indy. It's a shame he won't be there next year (at least it's not looking good). I also like the fact that Eli is coming out into his own and will no longer be in big brother's shadow when he wins his SECOND ring this year.

On a side note, have y'all seen the new Sportscenter commercial with the Mannings taking a tour? Classic. I'm not sure how to embed Youtube videos; so here's the link...

I'm a Jets and Steelers fan.  Yet, I can't bring myself to pull for The Evil Empire.  So, outwardly I want the G-Men . . .

. . . but, because this is a CC poll, I'm picking "the Joooos" option.
