Young Democrats 2012 Winter Meeting

I have an exciting opportunity to represent Wisconsin at the joint College Democrats of America (CDA) and Young Democrats of America (YDA) 2012 Winter Meeting in Chicago, Illinois. However, I need your help to get there!

The conference will take place Friday, March 9th – Sunday, March 11th in Downtown Chicago.

YDA meetings will begin around lunchtime on Friday and run through noon on Sunday. The summit will include a number of joint sessions and trainings, and I will have the opportunity to tour the Obama campaign headquarters and hear from senior campaign staff.

Currently, I am running for the Wisconsin State Assembly in the 26th District. I am very serious about serving my community and truly making a different.

A few days ago I took the time and energy out of my day to add my name to the list of people supporting Asher at supportasher.com, in an effort to get in on the surge of supporters (9 total) as he cruises towards his goal of 50 supporters.

I checked in today, and to my dismay, it has dropped back down to 7 supporters.  I guess having the likes of Mia Balzitch supporting you isn't what it used to be.

I like how he moved to "Partisan bickering won't help us solve our state's problems" within the scope of 1 paragraph of "Mike Endsley (the district's current Rep.)  has voted along Republican Party lines and supported Gov. Walker's radical agenda".
