Seems you really DO want to discuss things here, but you just don't know how.
Its pretty easy. Heres a few give and take questions and other members can add a few too.
1) Can you list a few socialist paradises where socialism makes the economy hum and everyone is prosperous?
Most of Europe doesn't count cause they are going bankrupt under socialist spending.
2) Venuzuela is a hardore socialist country. They are shutting down all opposition radio/TV/newspapers in the country. Why do socialist countries need to shut down all opposition speech?
3) Every socialist country seems to have problems with religious people. Hugo Chavez has govt plans to write sermons for the churches. Spanish socialists hate the church. Communist countries simply outlawed the church and atheism was the official religion. Even progeressives at DU and every other liberal site are serious bigots when it comes to Christians and Jews. Occupy Wall Street is rife with anti-semitic hate speech, and they are unashamedly socialist.
