Oh my.

The minute I heard that the U.S. Supreme Court--unanimously--threw out the "politically-correct" redistricting map for Texas and reverted back to the accurately-drawn Republican redistricting plan, I figured the primitives would be all hot and upset.

Apparently the primitives don't know about it yet, so I had to bring something else over.

$4-a-gallon gas likely this spring, analysts say

http://www.cnn.com/2012/01/19/travel/spring-gas-prices/index.html

New York (CNN) -- Get ready to pay $4 or more at the pump this spring: Analysts say gas prices could hit a record high.

Fred Rozell, retail pricing director at Oil Price Information Service, says he expects the national average for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline to reach $4 to $4.25 per gallon for regular gasoline when the market peaks, sometime in between April and early May.

Patrick DeHaan, senior petroleum analyst for GasBuddy.com, projects the national average could hit between $3.75 and $4.15 at some point in May.

Both predictions indicate that consumers could pay record high prices within the next few months. The all-time high for the national average, according to AAA, stands at $4.11, reached in the summer of 2008.

it's already going up, here in my corner of Austin, gas has risen 19 cents in the past week and a half.

And five bucks per gallon by Memorial Day.

We know who to blame for that.

The primitives however don't.

2. Never forget, Big Oil promised "great pain for Obama" if he didn't approve the oil sludge line.

This is political manipulation by an American industry. It should be illegal.

6. How the freak can average americans afford to get to work.

we ended up giving up one of our cars just so hubby has enough money to have gas to drive 40 miles to work and back.

We owned both cars and can't afford to put gas in both.

Well, you voted for it.  You got it.  Too bad, but it's your own fault.

"I would like to see gas prices at $5 per gallon. I think it just got there too fast."  B. Heussein 0bama

"Under my plan, electricity prices will necessarily skyrocket." B. Heussein 0bama

He told us what he would do. Some of us listened and tried to inform the uninformable.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

And on a side note on the same subject...This morning there was a TV ad, approved by Obama, stating that under his great leadship we had reduced our dependence on foriegn oil to less than 50%.

DUmmies will go "Great job oh great leader", while the truth of the matter is, the economy is so bad we're not using as much oil....Well...I guess he can make that claim then can't he.

I agree with tridim.  People shouldn't become fat when they over-eat.  People shouldn't become poor when they overspend.  Gas prices shouldn't go up when politicians make stupid decisions.

Obama has never made a stupid decision in his life...he always voted "present".
