No, but I like Natalie Imbruglia and the Cranberries. Again, you come to a point in your life when you can't chill out listening to Hangar 18 by Megadeth and driving around as an almost 39 year old blaring Poison isn't "cool" anymore.
I still listen to the same music but it's gotten to the point where I have zero interest in listening to anything.  I left my CD collection in my office when I got hired there a  year ago... it was in the back seat of my car at the time.  It's still there and I don't really miss it.

I have no idea what happened, but I just don't care about music.  I don't get it.

Damn, if I wanted to hear a bunch freakin' yodeling, I'd go to Switzerland and record cows being milked.

Well, there are some that can sing for a living, and some that can blow for a living.  :-)

Newsflash--blaring Poison was NEVER cool.

And as an over-45 year old, I will say it's still refreshing to be able to listen to, and STILL APPRECIATE stuff like AC/DC, Pantera, Iron Maiden, and Metallica (old stuff like Master of Puppets, not anything post-black album.)  I'm not ready for the easy-listening shit just yet, although it does have its place on my CD rack.

Dude, I don't sit there and listen to this easy listening shit all the time. I'm normally listening to talk radio or country. As for Poison, come on, mang, it was cool as hell driving around in a T-Topped Z-28 in the 80's blaring out some "Nothing but a good time".  :-)

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Etta James' performance of the enduring classic "At Last" was the embodiment of refined soul: Angelic-sounding strings harkened the arrival of her passionate yet measured vocals as she sang tenderly about a love finally realized after a long and patient wait.

In real life, little about James was as genteel as that song. The platinum blonde's first hit was a saucy R&B number about sex, and she was known as a hell-raiser who had tempestuous relationships with her family, her men and the music industry. Then she spent years battling a drug addiction that she admitted sapped away at her great talents.

The 73-year-old died on Friday at Riverside Community Hospital from complications of leukemia, with her husband and sons at her side, her manager, Lupe De Leon said.

The song "If" written by David A. Gates in 1971, is from Bread's 1971 album Manna.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

...and for anyone wanting to talk shit, I think 30 years of listening to Megadeth, Metallica, Mordrid, Pantera, and all types of music that "apparently" had their own genre, entitles me to listen to a little adult contemporary, even though I though AC was gay as shit when I was a kid.

It still is when you're not a kid anymore
