nadinbrzezinski9. Well since I have seen this with my own eyes downtown at Civic CenterLast edited Mon Jan 9, 2012, 05:32 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1)Yup, we had a tea party group come in and have a nice conversation. No, that was not the media... and yes, they were all Tea party Members. They agreed with the local occupiers on a few critical issues. 1.- We need to get money out of politics. 2.- The banks were bailed out, we got left out. They even joined in the daily walk\ march through downtown San Diego. Hell, I most even have a don't thread on me flag, the signature thing from the Tea Parties, in my hard drive. So why are you not listening to people who are primary sources to this crap?
nadinbrzezinski5. Not quite, the base of the T Party is the same group of peoplethey tend to be older and more white, but they are actually talking to each other... and finding points of agreement, and not just a few. I have seen this with my own eyes. To say this scares the T Party leadership to no end is another matter.
nadinbrzezinski14. Why I am talking of the base, not the leaderswhy the leaders are scared shitless that they are going to talk to Occupiers. Remember when Tea Party Nation told it's members NOT to go to these camps? At the camps they lose control of them.

tridim (38,503 posts) Profile Journal Send DU Mail Ignore6. You're mistaking Paulites for teabaggers. The teabaggers literally spit on our black leaders in D.C. Racism is the only reason they existed.
The most lily white group I have seen in politics is the OWemeS. 99% of them are white, young, and with a great sense of entitlement. A very homogeneous group if there ever was one..
I meant to add that to my post. The hate Jew Signs, the Zionist signs, the Jew banker Signs, etc...And what about all the Bush Monkey, and Bush Hitler signs when he was in office?
You mean these Tea Partiers? That's funny I never heard the N'word or saw anybody spitting on anyone. And compared to what OWS has done the last few months? Are you kidding me?
Breitbart still hasn't given that award to anyone who could prove it because no one has yet to do so.
I've seen occupy Raleigh, Occupy Greensboro and occupy Chapel Hill and it's damn close to 100% white.
What is a "don't thread on" me flag?
It's a flag you wave when you don't want Obamanaut or other DU stalkers to post in your threads. I think?
soon as you find your manhood all else falls into place.
If Ft. Hood was "workplace violence," then the Hindenburg was an air show.
I don't know if sand glows in the dark, but we're gonna find out.
From the Washington Post Why Aferican Americans aren't embrasing Occupy Wall Street
In 1969, James Forman, former executive secretary of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), a civil rights organization, called on blacks to not perpetuate capitalism or contribute to the exploitation of blacks in the United States and elsewhere. He urged black workers to take over America by sabotaging U.S. factories and ports “while the brothers fight guerrilla warfare in the street.†And Huey Newton and the Black Panther Party renounced the American Dream as defective and called for the destruction of the capitalist system.
"Don't thread on me!" I missed being here.
