LANDSLIDE: Limbaugh Predicts 2012 Election
Quote
PALM BEACH, Fla. – While polls across America show Barack Obama in a tight race for president with potential Republican nominees, top-rated radio host Rush Limbaugh doesn’t think the outcome of the race will even be close.

“If the election were today, it would be a landslide loss,” Limbaugh said this afternoon. “Let me define landslide: five to seven points. It’d be big. It would be huge.”

“Make no mistake about it,” he continued. “Of this I am as confident as anything. I know it’s not reflected anywhere else in the media and it’s not reflected too many other places in conservative media. But I’m telling you, he’s toast. Just as Jimmy Carter was toast, and nobody knew it until election night [in 1980].

Limbaugh cited Gallup polling about Obama’s personal approval ratings among voters, and he says the forecast is not bright for the president.

“Forty-two percent approve, 49 disapprove. Among white people, Obama is down to 35 percent approval. In 2008, he had 43 percent of the white vote. Among Hispanic people, Obama is at 46 percent, down from 67 percent. By age group, Obama is at 47 percent approval among voters under 30. In 2008, he got 66 percent of their vote. … I mean he’s plummeting, folks. He has been in a downward spiral for two years and it continues.”

Limbaugh put little faith in professional pollsters who continue to show an even matchup with whomever the Republican nominee is going to be.

Pollsters are just as biassed as the media. it will be a full court press by the MSM to bolster Obama.
Apart from FOX, we have a state run ministry of propaganda.

I don't trust ANY poll.

Who was questioned?
What race?
What nationality?
What political party?
Male or female?
Single or married?
What were the questions?
What were the choices?
Who conducted the poll?
Legal citizens or illegal criminals?

The list goes on...........

And more specifically what was the exact question asked?

I have seen many poll questions asked in such bassackward ways as to almost answer it for you.
"The society that puts equality before freedom will end up with neither; the society that puts freedom before equality will end up with a great measure of both."

"Nothing is so permanent as a temporary government program."

"We have a system that increasingly taxes work and subsidizes nonwork."

Election polls are like a vacation trip in a car. You take snapshots along the way, and what you see depends on when you looked out of which window. Nothing more.

I sometimes think polls seem to be self fulfilling prophecies. How long have we been hearing that Romney is the "most electable" ?  At the same time, conservatives have been trying to find anyone but Mitt to vote for.  Yet here we are after only the second primary, and the MSM has been telling that Mitt will be the nominee and they have been doing so for some time.  The MSM has done their best to pick Romney as the one to go against Obama, and they'll get what they want it seems.

More than a few conservatives will stay home, and Romney will lose some supporters to Obama in the general election. Why vote for a RINO that is Obama lite when you could vote for Obama ?

Yep, I've been thinking for quite awhile that the MSM is all in for Romney. He is their choice of the most likely loser to Obama because he "IS" a RINO and they know that people are getting damn tired of RINO's. The MSM may also be hoping that that will spawn a conservative third party bid by someone. They will do anything to deplete the republican vote and enhance Obie's chances.

I guess I better run by WAL-MART again this election year and stock up on clothespins for my nose.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
