And, what is it with the primitives and all sorts of plumbing issues?  The Las Vegas Leviathan has clogged up his plumbing at least twice that I can find, and now this.

Nads, the things you don't know about Geneva/Hague has filled many books, DA Pam 27-1 among them.

Read Common Article 3 of the Conventions for the Sick and Wounded, it applies to conflict of a non-international nature within the territory of a signatory party.  It basically prohibits torture, summary execution, and (Indirectly) ethnic cleansing by such means.  It doesn't say shit about regular police using what you regard as unnecessary roughness to clear streets or effect lawful arrests.
