Looking for Conservative comedy in TV
« on: January 07, 2012, 01:13:40 PM »
My favorite TV comedies all have a progressive/ liberal bias so I was wondering if anyone knows of Conservative leaning television comedies.

I like The Simpsons, South Park (not/ liberal or progressive), It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Arrested Development, and Futurama. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I know about Red Eye.

Modern Family does have a gay couple in it, but I don't find it to be liberally biased at all. I wouldn't say it's conservative either. It's just hilarious. If you really want some conservative comedy, switch over to TVLand. Andy Griffith, Peticoat Junction, Green Acres, Bewitched....

BTW, Sunny in Philadelphia is one of my favorites too.

"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

I didn't see Rob, but from the previews I thought it was going to be mostly PC BS and making Rob Schneider , i.e. all white people look stupid while making Mexicans look good.
