since those are pretty much his exact words in the Declaration of Independence.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

He may have not believed in the same God as many of the then Colonists...but he did believe rights were NOT granted by man rather were to be secured and protected by man.

and your snark just indicates that you have realized you typed something incredibly stupid and got called on it. Hell, your statement is diametrically opposed to what Jefferson himself wrote. And once again, if you will read, the rights are not GRANTED by the Constitution/Bill of Rights/Amendments, rather they are set and protected (of course our government forgets that from time to time) by that series of documents via LIMITATIONS on GOVERNMENT powers...but YOU knew that already.

This thread is just getting cranked up.

I expect the DUmpmonkeys to need some of those tanker planes with the fire retardant before long.
