Our Friend's Health
« on: January 05, 2012, 09:58:10 AM »
Tim, the husband of a friend's daughter, is a paramedic and has had some health problems.

Before Christmas, his heart monitor alarm went off when he was on light duty on the radio watch at the fire station, and luckily someone found him lying on the floor. In the hospital, he died 3 times and was brought back each time. He's still in the hospital on heart monitors.

The doctors said that if wasn't so young (about 43) they would have quit trying to fix things. His heart is so weak that it's not repairable.

My wife said he's an excellent candidate for a heart transplant.

I'm not all that religious, but I ask for some of you to send up some prayers for him. His wife (our friend's daughter) is not doing well, either, and our friend, who is in her 80s and legally blind, with other age-related health issues, simply could not take care of their child.

Thank you for allowing me to ramble on.......

To be only 43 and have a bad ticker like that, wow. Prayers up, CG. If a transplant is in God's plan, I hope they can work it in.

Best wishes to all involved.

Praying for him.  Do they have children?

One son. We've been concerned about Tim for a long time. It's a good thing he was wearing the monitor; it has a real loud alarm on it, which brought the first person to him when he was on the floor.
