We've seen this before.  The very simplistic interpretation of the specific regions of the brain did not pan out with a more detailed look.  In fact, the final result showed the liberal brain severely lacking some abilities to rational thought and the ability to consider future results, if I recall correctly.

One of these days these liberally biased researchers will figure out that there are actually Conservative scientists out there capable of calling them on their sloppy science. My background is more is more in sports physiology than neurobiology, but I'm not entirely unfamiliar with the field. The brain-mapping studies that are making meaningful discoveries out there involve 100's to 1000's of subjects. Only using 90 subjects looks a whole lot like cherry-picking. Old tricks.

Also this study only asked the subjects to rate themselves on a scale of Very Liberal to Very Conservative, but didn't ask them questions about their specific beliefs. I'm sure we've all known plenty of people that call themselves liberal but then when you really ask them if they believe in efficient government, patriotism, personal responsibility, strong morals, etc, they find out how Conservative they really are. I wonder how many people checked the box "very liberal" on this questionnaire but really weren't.

I take note when I see articles like this. Especially when the establishment does not challenge then obvious bias.

I take note because the Old Soviet Union placed political opponents into insane asylums as no sane person could  oppose communist rule. Liberals today are just communists afraid to call themselves communists.

Psuedo-science like this or global warming are just steps to liberal tyranny.

No research is needed on this. Conservatives have a brain whereas liberals do not.

I'm always suspect of research that results in "liberals tend to be more educated..." Maybe it's just me, but the people I run into that are "more educated" tend to be conservative, if they have education in something worthwhile (i.e. not women's studies)

I think those studies tend to focus on the 18 - 30 age group.  After 30, the brainwashing from all those years in schools and colleges is tending to wear off.

Healthy doses of real life tend to have that effect.

Being more educated does not make one person smarter.
