Simply copying-and-pasting DUmmy comments where others can see and critique them must be a real embarrassment to Democratic Underground.

Of course it is.

I dunno how Omaha Steve's going to explain away this thread when he starts campaigning in real life.

I'm sure his comments are going to be quoted in some manner.

And it'd be his own fault, because he made those comments.

There's no crime in quoting someone's exact words.

I ask the mods to leave this post alone. It says nothing nasty and attacks nobody.

I find it amusing still how they have to pre-beg to not have a thread locked or banished.

Uh huh.

If somebody dared show such servile obsequiousness here, I'd do my best to get him banned.

This thread by the way has gone to the Sarpy County Republicans; I have no idea why Omaha Steve doesn't think his intemperate comments won't come back to him.

You know, my fellow Nebraskan makes other Nebraskans look bad, he's so stupid.

franksolich is always aware that what he says, has repercussions, some of which franksolich doesn't like.

But excresence happens; one accepts, adapts, and moves on.

Omaha Steve apparently thinks he can shoot off his mouth at will, and there'll be no consequences he doesn't want.

Well.....has anyone seen my fellow Nebraskan on Skins's island today?

I suppose I could go over and look for him, but to be honest, I'm burned out, overprimitived.

I'm itching to know how the party went last night.

I'm sure that OmahaSteve will have either a bouncy of a tale to weave or he will post something along the lines of TomInTib about how bad ass he was last night.

There is a lot of info we would be laughing at for ages IF it ever becomes known here. He has no problem talking about my life in public. Seems to me he is fair game for his public info too.

And the threads over there. Wow. I'm going to loose my race, but I dare not talk about him!

Remember Cali and her job, Steve. We could not have done a thing if she hadn't posted all the information herself right there on DU for all to see.
You've posted enough to make some very interesting emails to various persons of interest.

But go ahead, and tell us how the party went.

I'm betting Steve will release the personal info on some completely innocent guy-someone who is not even a member here.

Which would make an even more interesting press release. So go ahead, Steve. Destroy your political career.

I thought it was you, but now I doubt they even know.

Well, if Chief Flapping Jaw has any questions, he can either come over here, register, and inquire, or he is utterly free to inquire of franksolich at franksolich's well-known g-mail address.

Of course, Chief Braggadacio could try shouting his questions to over here from Skins's island, but as we all know, such queries would be deleted over there sooner than we could see them.

I doubt Chief Loud Mouth really wants to know, though; I suspect he's just more comfortable entertaining fantasies about who someone is, than actually finding out who someone is.

It's a characteristic of primitivity.

Au Countraire... I think he sees office as a means to power, and his temper and vengeance will know no bounds if he is elected. He may be a city councilman, but he will act like a king, lording over his subjects.
after all, Steve is a primitive: and they really aren't any good with that whole freedom thing.

His whole tirade was fueled by some guy talking bad about him. Something ALL politicians must learn to endure.
Other politicians know this and ignore the rubes, but not Steve...No. He has to go to a PUBLIC internet (that anyone can see) and make threats.

Citizens of Bellvue, you better wise up! Free Speech will be punished if you elect Steve to office.

Hey DUmbass, no one here has talked about your life, we merely point out your stupidity for posting personal information on a public forum.  If you do lose (notice it is spelled correctly) your city council race it will be due to your own ineptness and complete lack of political skills.  Do you honestly believe the constituents of whatever city ward you are running for will best be served by a classless, clueless, imbecile?  What lame ass excuse are you going to come up with to say you're withdrawing from the race.  Let me guess, money or health issues?  I and the rest of us can't wait for your political bouncy.  :bird:

I don't think he's serious.  If Omaha Steve were serious, as I mentioned before, upon deciding to run for the Bellevue City Council, he would've immediately severed all ties with Skins's island, and hope that the passage of time would discourage people from "researching" him that far back.

I think however he was attracted to the idea because there's been some, uh, scandals about expense accounts in Bellevue--not so much any city councilmen, but high-ranking municipal and school-district personnel.

One could almost see the big guy leaning over to Marta, "Hey, you know, if either of us could get elected to office, we could attend Star Trek conventions and somesuch on expense accounts, if they could be remotely connected to city or school business.  Free rides all over the country."

But the bottom line is, he's really not serious about running, because he's far more interested in hanging around with the primitives on Skins's island.

On the #3 thread someone said Steve hadn't even filed with the county yet.
Not exactly the sign of someone eager to run.

I hear the weather was bad up there last night.  I guess stayed home not wanting to chance treacherous roads and Marta's health.  She'd have a heart attack pushing his fat ass out of the ditch.

It was bad in Omaha, but if the party was reasonably close to where they live, they wouldn't have had any problems going to it.

Perhaps, but if he drives like he posts, the roads could be completely clear on a sunny afternoon and he would still end up running off the road.  Kind of like his political career, don' ya think?
