The Fire Walker begs
« on: December 30, 2011, 03:37:19 PM »
Occupooper threads have been really thinning out as of late.
Our little newbie is trying to make an early run for 2012 DOTY award.
Will Nads put up with this young upstart?

#Occupy Everett Washington being forced out
From Facebook:

Occupy Seattle
Occupy Everett
EMERGENCY CALL TO ACTION! Snohomish County leadership only giving us access to trash dumpsters today and accelerated our decamp by 24 hours. Camp clean up and decamping is going on now. We need people at the Courthouse to come help - please help Occupy Everett!

Four comments so far.
Two by her, and two by someone else I haven't seen before.
Can't quite figure this new guy out.
Here, look.

3. I can't help but think this is going to be a boost to the heart of the Occupy movement:

It's time to transform the system of death into one that values life.

And Occupy is leading the way with non-violence, since:

'All beings tremble before violence. All fear death. All love life.' -Buddha

The 'tide is turning' despite these ebbs and flows.

Someone please tell how that link is in any way related to the OP.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Bolivia honors mother earth and enshrines it in the law.
A good place to begin for Occupy...

Bolivia Set to Pass Historic 'Law of Mother Earth' Which Will Grant Nature Equal Rights to Humans
Written by Keph Senett

Evo Morales speaks at the UNWikimedia Commons

With the cooperation of politicians and grassroots organizations, Bolivia is set to pass the Law of Mother Earth which will grant nature the same rights and protections as humans. The piece of legislation, called la Ley de Derechos de la Madre Tierra, is intended to encourage a radical shift in conservation attitudes and actions, to enforce new control measures on industry, and to reduce environmental destruction.

The law redefines natural resources as blessings and confers the same rights to nature as to human beings, including: the right to life and to exist; the right to continue vital cycles and processes free from human alteration; the right to pure water and clean air; the right to balance; the right not to be polluted; and the right to not have cellular structure modified or genetically altered. Perhaps the most controversial point is the right "to not be affected by mega-infrastructure and development projects that affect the balance of ecosystems and the local inhabitant communities".....more

3. Thinking for a living Planet!

In the United States we recognize corporations as having the same constitutional rights as human beings. It's a beautiful thing to hear Bolivia is wise enough to grants these rights to mother earth!

Denial to a DUmmie could be anything from what a dentist does to the metal spike-like things that holds a house together.   :mental:

If it was against the law to post while under the influence of any type of medication, the DUmp would go dark.

Here at Conservative Cave, we have access to the DUmpster every day.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.
