No wonder why people don't like politicians. Where is OccupyWallStreet on this?  :whatever: I blame the government more than Wall Street for this mess we are in.

Tax them 70% of their income. Much of it is by hook or crook so they should pay more or as Obummer and the Democraps would say their fair share. Then go after Federal employees who are tax evaders. Let them put their money where their mouth is when before they start blabbing about increasing taxes.

I would guess he meant the Obama Czars and appointees?
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

I don't think so. There was an article this year about how many federal employees are tax evaders or just owe back taxes to the fed.

Correct. Basically those that work in DC that are appointed or staff members who think the IRS laws do not apply to them. When I went to work for the state I had to sign a statement that I had paid my state income taxes. Failure to pay state income taxes could result in penalty and interest charged, disciplinary action or firing. I would like to see all Federal employees under that umbrella. Since the Feds want more taxes, they should clean their own house first.

That's what I thought, but with the way a government employee has been demonized and made to look like worthless check collecting people earning way more than anybody on the face of the earth over the past couple of years, I didn't know.

I know, I think that is wrong and they should be terminated.  I also bet that there are a lot more people not in federal employment that are tax evaders and owe back taxes.

Regardless, congress is the epitome of a soup sandwich

I know what you mean and it just goes with the territory. I was a sales tax auditor. The sales tax I collected on just one transaction, a corporate jet, was enough to pay my salary for many years.
