They were teeny tiny mermaids, just a couple inches long and they all lived in my aquarium. They would sing all pretty. But a lot of the time, they just looked bored.
BUT. ONE. DAY...
I looked up and they were GONE!
Rushing over to the aquarium, I heard a crunch. Looking down, there they were. all dead and dried out.
Looks like they tried to escape and died on the carpet.
The sight woke me up. and I've been thinking about it since.
My awake and logical mind has been thinking of a reason why. I'm thing bored mermaids needed a mere-boy.
or TV, or something.
