Gary Johnson Leaves GOP Primary

Who?

Quote
Johnson Leaves GOP Primary: What If He Had Been Invited to More Debates?

Politico is reporting that Governor Gary Johnson of New Mexico is dropping out of the Republican primary to run as a Libertarian candidate in the 2012 elections.

Johnson reportedly expressed frustration that he was not being invited to the debates and that, despite doing better in the polls than Jon Huntsman or several of the other established candidates, he could get no media attention. In early September, Johnson polled higher than Jon Huntsman and Rick Santorum, yet he wasn’t invited to the Reagan debate. He polled the same as Herman Cain at one point.

Raise your hand if you forgot this guy was still running.

I do believe that was his point
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

If you want to play with the big dogs, you got to come down off the porch.

He surrounds himself with ineffective campaign people then blames the media.    Amateurs.

That's too bad that Mr. Johnson  pulled out.  He had a message to tell.  He had good ideas, not all of them, but he had good ideas.  I wish he would have stay in the hunt and then if he did not get the nomination, would have supported the eventual nominee.

It seems this is more about him than what is good for the country.  Sad,  isn't it?

Without big bucks and organization, you do not have a prayer. Plus, running as a Repub then switching to a Libertarian in the general election is pretty chicken shit in my opinion.

If you don't try, you will never have the big bucks and an organization.

He tried and failed. Since he did not like the results, he is going to go 3rd party. Pretty chicken shit if you ask me.

Pre-emptive strike against Ron Paul - they both belong in the Libertarian Party.

You can add Huntsman to that list. All three have one thing in common, they do not stand a Chinaman's chance of becoming President.

The problem is that all these "independent" candidates need only change the total votes by 3% and it means the Fool, Bobo, the Post Turtle, will be re-elected and we change, big time, as a country.

Well, maybe not after the impeachment or coup d'etat.  That would be a great mistake.  Either of those choices, but not out of the question.  Great nations fail from the inside out.

You mean like Ron Paul did in the 80's?

I doubt Paul will run because it will endanger his son's chances of future committee assignments and it could cause him to lose what he has at the present time.

Whatever his reasoning, from your lips to God's ears. I don't think his son's committee assignment means that much to him. He seems to be convinced by his cult that he's the true savior of the country, and is willing to flush the country down the toilet by peroting 0bama to a second term if "we aren't smart enough to pick him".

Unfortunately, I think you may be onto something.

McConnell needs to put a bee in his ear. Rand might be able to pursade pop to dismiss his crazy idea of running as a 3rd party candidate.
