Ron Paul is still a racist asshole

Stupid paulites may ignore it all they want but the facts don't change. Here, TYT's do the topic nicely:

5. Cenk's right here, but now has said he'd vote for Paul over Obama.

He may've been exaggerating to make a point, but it sure didn't sound like he was.

13. Well, like many Ron Paul supporters Cenk is...

Just now learning who Ron Paul is! Plus, folks like Cenk would say they would vote for a right wing science denying, woman hating, racist christian NUT before Obama because Obama has not done everything they wanted when they wanted & that is there way of telling everyone how made they are, i Guess.

6. Yes, he sure is!

The more we get the facts out there, the better off it will be.

Here is a link to an article with more info on his vile racist, homophobic views:

News Bulletin: Ron Paul Is a Huge Racist

snip

This “Special Issue on Racial Terrorism” was hardly the first time one of Paul’s publications had raised these topics. As early as December 1989, a section of his Investment Letter, titled “What To Expect for the 1990s,” predicted that “Racial Violence Will Fill Our Cities” because “mostly black welfare recipients will feel justified in stealing from mostly white ‘haves.’” Two months later, a newsletter warned of “The Coming Race War,” and, in November 1990, an item advised readers, “If you live in a major city, and can leave, do so. If not, but you can have a rural retreat, for investment and refuge, buy it.” In June 1991, an entry on racial disturbances in Washington, DC’s Adams Morgan neighborhood was titled, “Animals Take Over the D.C. Zoo.” “This is only the first skirmish in the race war of the 1990s,” the newsletter predicted. In an October 1992 item about urban crime, the newsletter’s author--presumably Paul--wrote, “I’ve urged everyone in my family to know how to use a gun in self defense. For the animals are coming.” That same year, a newsletter described the aftermath of a basketball game in which “blacks poured into the streets of Chicago in celebration. How to celebrate? How else? They broke the windows of stores to loot.” The newsletter inveighed against liberals who “want to keep white America from taking action against black crime and welfare,” adding, “Jury verdicts, basketball games, and even music are enough to set off black rage, it seems.”

I was going to post a couple of more snippets but they were making me actually nauseous.

One of the DUmmies links to a KOSsack post giving Dr. Nutz some serious down twinkles.

Ron Paul Hates You

Daily Kos is very definitely not the place you'd expect to see a lot of fulminating praise for right-wing conservatives. Yet the diaries are full of people who can't find enough nice things to say about Rep. Ron Paul, whose smiling face is at this moment being beamed to America from the site of the Republican debate in New Hampshire--after which, we may be sure, we will see yet another round of diaries brimming with joy about Paul's sweet words against the Iraq war. You, dear reader, may even be considering writing one or more such diaries yourself.

Before you do, fellow Democrat, please understand just one thing: Your affection for Paul is far from mutual. Through his words, his actions, and his votes in Congress, he has made one thing abundantly clear over the decades: Ron Paul hates you. By building him up, by supporting him, by taking him seriously, you are not driving a wedge into the heart of the Republican Party--you are only giving him a helping hand along the road to his goal of destroying just about everything you stand for.

Bummer, dude.

I like most of what Mr. Paul has to say.

80% of what Dr. Nutz says is just fine, and I agree with.  It's not just that I disagree with the other 20%, though; the remaining 20% of what spews forth from Dr. Nutz mouth is so completely batshit insane as to utterly NEGATE the 80% that I originally agreed with.

His cult of worshipers are what put me over the edge.  Paul is a self-serving naive fool who would cause a generation of damage to this country if he got in the White House.  His foreign policy is as bad, and worse, as Obama's.

Much like the current occupier.

On foreign and defense policy, he has accomplished the heretofore-believed-to-be-impossible task of actually being worse, though it is kind of like scoring 35 out of 100 on a test instead of stretching all the way up to a whopping 46.

Can't stand Ron Paul. I think I like even less than Nadin does:

A small observation about Ron Paul

Ok, there is one thing I agree with Paul, but will also tell you how he'd destroy this.

Drug legalization. Prohibition does not work...now look deep into Paul, complete freedom with zero regulations don't work either. In an ideal word, per Ron Paul, there would be zero regulations not just on these prohibited drugs, but all drugs. See, here is the problem, coke is many a times cut with talcum powder. It's cheap, it looks like it, and it leads to some nasty effects. How many pharma companies woud start using that instead of the more expensive substances they are "forced" to use these days?

So even if you agree with a policy possition or two, you need to ask...how would it be turned on it's face by Paul? Oh and mind you, what I just described is very internally consistent.

Word to the wise, from experience, even the worst politico, you too can find something you agree with...but then when you look deeply into how that might be carried out, the rest of that political philosophy will come to the fore.

So when you meet a Paul supporter, one tactic might be...how d you think he'd carry this out?

(For the record talcum powder can have nasty effects to the heart when injected).

Nadin says no and she knows everything

they've had more than one Paulbot trolling them this week.

Better them than us.  It's about time they had a taste of what loony ideas do to politics outside of their own encampments.
