Question concerning jury service and certain sites DU doesn't allow to use as sources

I was recently asked to be on a jury where the person who sent the alert pointed to two links in someones post the alerter said were included in a list of sources that are not allowed to be used on DU.

I had no way of knowing if the person who sent the alert knew what they were talking about or not as I am not in possession of any such list of sources that are not allowed to be linked to. I have never seen such a list before either. If there is such a list is that list located somewhere can we peruse it by any chance for future reference?

Thank you in advance for any help with this. And no hurry if you are busy either. I have to cut out of here for a while anyway.

Thank you and see you later.

Don

Someone's obviously thinking of us this Christmas season.

2. Such a list did exist, apparently, in DU2, but it was not publicly available.

The moderators are no more, and no list has come to light. I'm not sure what to think about that. For now, I'm looking at the content of what is posted first, then the source second. I've found nothing, for example, that Alex Jones has ever said that I consider suitable for posting on DU. So, if I see Alex Jones's site as a source, I'm going took very, very carefully at the material posted.

I'm pretty certain that if the Admins wanted us to consult such a list, we'd see one we could consult.

3. In my experience, they were extreme right wing sites, conspiracy sites and sites whose mission was to stalk and bait DU. Common sense, when you get right down to it.

Hmmm.

Anybody know of any site whose "mission" is "to stalk and bait DU"?

If so, I wanna join it, as it'd be fun to go out and bait DU, if there's such a place.

9. It is my understanding, the Admins are still working out how to handle this issue

I expect before too much longer some guide lines will appear.

Such gratitude for the chains that are to be wrapped around you...
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

What bait would you use for DUmpmonkeys?
Mud eels? Chicken liver? Catalpa worms?
I'd use BC Bud.

Experience demonstrates that Section 8, SSDI, welfare, and food stamp applications are the best bait.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
