I dunno, FB.

I think there's plenty of idiocy in Commiefornia and in New York, where the hippies are accustomed to snapping their fingers and having the gubmint kow-tow to their every wish. There are undoubtedly other places, but perhaps not enough to carry the entire state. Florida and Ohio, for example, are not likely to see blue in this next election.

Problem is, even Commiefornia and New Yawk are slowly taking the hint.  I saw a poll done not long ago that had approval ratings by state, and even there Obama is BARELY cracking 50 percent.

If you took the states where he's at 46 percent or less at this point and assume they're going to the GOP nominee, Obama is a 1-termer.

Good information, Sparky, though it's slightly dated. (This whole discussion might be suited for another thread, but what the hey - we're here now.)

A couple things we've not really discussed yet - one, the effect the DNC's war chest is going to have on the campaign when they finally get going and two, who the RNC's nominee is going to be and how that plays out.

By the time the election rolls around, the vast, vast majority of Americans are going to be so sick of partisan politics, sniping, backstabbing, and negative campaigning that I'm afraid they're going to "tune out" and vote out of anger rather than anything else. If that's the case, let's hope they vote the libs OUT.

If it's truly a two way race between Romney and Gingrich (and between the two I hope it's the latter), Obama is REALLY screwed.  Note how the MSM is pulling out all the stops and criticism from the RINOs who would never have supported him anyway, yet remain silent on Romney--better to keep their powder dry until after the convention and pound on his Mormonism.

What's really going to get the ATM's chugging along are the debates.  Either would do well, but Newt especially would mop up the floor with the SCOAMF.

Hey, most of those blue states border Canada and/or Mexico. We can force march all the liberals out of those states to one or the other. And the ones in Florida can either take the cattle cars to one or the other or get a free innertube for a liesuely float to Cuba. :-)...I'm so kind.

They won't want to come here we the reality hits them that the conservatives have a majority, not to mention the huge gains they keep making.

Easy to get them confused. They're both situated in NYC, they're both Dems, they're both criminals, and they're both racists -- probably Brother Al moreso than Charlie, but they'll both play the race card when it suits them.
