I had a nightmare...and now all the lights are on...
« on: December 06, 2011, 10:48:24 PM »
This was a doozy.
OK, I dreamed that time has stopped for everyone but me. It was cool. I had to weave in and out of traffic cause everyone/everything was at a standstill. I was planning on moving to Orlando so I could live in Disney World.

But the sun never moved. I needed a place to sleep, so i found a nice house with no one inside. Out the window, people were walking by...or rather frozen in place while walking by. I'm poking around looking for food, and I look out the window. All the faces of the people turned when I wasn't looking! They were staring at me!

Oh crap. I went to lock the door and while I wasn't looking the people moved closer! With all the doors locked, I drew the curtains closed. But curiosity got to me, and I threw the curtains open. The people's faces were pressed against the glass and they screamed and gibbered, "BlahBoodeeYadaWookaWOO!"

I woke up with my hand on the light switch. I musta thrown off the covers cause they be on the floor.
Now I'm gonna halfta watch kitty videos on you tube to calm down.

I make it sound silly, but I've had nightmares like that before...where things only move when you look away.

I really should have gotten marred when I was younger. That way there would always be someone to feed to the monsters while I get away.

Oh, criminy!  I hate nightmares.  Until I'm awake, then I laugh at them.

People staying at the house say they've heard me yelling stuff like "oooooomoooooodooooooobuuuuuu"  which is really me telling everyone that I've found a way to escape disaster, send the children first!

It almost sounds like the episode of Doctor Who called "Blink".

This is like a Twilight Zone episode a few years back. Some woman screams for everyone to stop and they froze in place while  a nuclear attack is going on. Her delima became to either live alone while they are frozen in place or watch the world get nuked.

There was a Twilight Zone episode with that plot.  It was an odd one.

Oh, that's frightening, especially when they're at the window!

Is Vesta haunting you?

I had a nightmare last night.  I dreamed that I was with a group of people who had just been hired to work in a restaurant.  As we wandered through the kitchen passing all these great-looking jobs (sautee, butcher, baker), I was the one that gets stuck washing dishes in the back by myself.

I had a nightmare last night.  I dreamed I was engaged to be married to this really young guy, right out of college.  YES it's a nightmare.  He didn't have two dimes to rub together, and we were looking at apartments.  I woke up and my first reaction was:   :hammer:  WTF are you getting married again for?  Oh thank God, it's not real, I haven't said I do, so I don't have to break up.

  That sounds similar to the one I had.  It was not pleasant.

You should have watched the episode of Doctor Who entitle "Blink."

People at work told me about it, and I found a highlight vid on YouTube.
Even made a thread just for it;  http://www.conservativecave.com/index.php/topic,67427.0.html

Its on Netflix, so I'm gonna stream it saturday or sunday. Working OT on sat, so more likely sunday.
But yeah, it looks way creepy!
