They should charge the bully with attempted murder for choking the kid.

Every boy in my grade school would've been in prison before we got through fifth grade, if dopes like the 'Adults' in that story ran things then.

These stories are perfect illustrations of what's wrong with this screwy "justice" system we have nowadays.
I beat the ever lovin' shit out of a boy my age (11) after he threw a stick at my crotch and it landed hard.  He landed harder after I picked up him and threw him through the air about ten feet.  Who knew one could literally see red? :-)  To complete his humiliation, it was on Ft. Campbell and the high school kids had just gotten off the school bus.
His father, some master sergeant, came bitching to my father (staff sergeant) that evening and Dad told him to go home to his pansy son before Dad beat the shit out of him (father).
Good times.  Glad I'm not a kid these days.  Poor bastards. :p

after a few years of liberal whines about stopping bullies at school, it all falls through when a kid is forced to defend himself.

Bully: unpunished.
Defender: punished.

It was never about bullies. It was all about granting libs at school vast powers to prosecute the innocent.

Sounds like the bully must've been the mayor's kid.  This is outrageous, Hell, the kicker's parents could be suing the school for failure to protect and the County for wrongful prosecution.
