Well, it's a complicated subject because I believe there are multiple threats from multiple sources, any number of which could mean some real problems for us.

Iran has to be up there toward the top, though. It doesn't have to be that way, but through Barry's absolutely stupid management of the Iranian effort toward obtainment of nukes, they're a lot closer to their goal than is comfortable. Don't believe me? Ask the Israelis.

If push comes to shove and things become a little more overt between Israel and Iran vis a vis Iran's nuke sites that have been mysteriously blown up, it's going to put a severe damper on the world's supply of oil. The Strait of Hormuz becomes a battleground and the cost of crude will immediately spike to unheard-of levels. That kind of shit gets Americans in an uproar, most ricky-tick.

North Korea is essentially ostracized and isolated. I don't see a huge problem with that country, unless they decide to go really rogue and launch something at Japan.

Perhaps more than any of these two countries, I fear the USA for posing the greatest threat to the USA. The entitlement mentality (again, Adam Carolla's rant was stellar on this issue), and Congress' own refusal to fix issues out of fear for their jobs (professional politicians were not on the minds of the Founding Fathers, it seems to me) all spell an encroachment upon our culture and way of life that could transcend anything that Iran or the Norks could toss at us.

It ain't looking real good right now, even though unemployment has dropped to 8.6% (not factoring in those who have given up in finding work, of course).

Good points, Euph, but ya gotta pick one from those listed. I didn't make it easy, huh?  :-)

Additionally, the USA's problems should be gone when blammo is deposed. The other countries have wild-eyed commies/socialists/terrorists in line behind the current leaders.

Tough call.  Each one poses a different sort of threat, any of the five could do initiate a chain of events with catastrophic consequences, by different means in each case.  Of the five, Russia and China have multiple means to bring this about, the other three are limited to variations of a theme regarding their nuclear capability/potential.

Easy, the progressive crowd right here within our own borders.
The Libtard Legion on its own can't pull it off but they are a cancer which intends to metastasize by means of bringing about amnesty for their Mexican mobs.
It is not a case of if we will be invaded, that has already taken place. The leftist media would have us believe that the number of illegals here in the U.S. is around 12 million and even as little as 9 million.
The reality is there are possibly as many as somewhere north of 30 million of them here so ya, we already have been overrun.
If that amnesty switch gets flipped it's all over folks.

I'm saying Meh-hee-co.

(within the context of this poll though I voted China)

Like Eupher, I have to go with "None of the Above.

The country that poses the greatest threat to the United States is the United States.  We will destroy ourselves LOOONG before an outside enemy can so much as make a dent in us.

Those other choices you listed?  Those are the damned vultures that are greedily waiting to pick at our bones once we do ourselves in.

Of the choices listed I'd say the Russians. Putin is dangerous and the ystill have plenty of Nukes to play with. The Chinese are only dangerous to their local area for now but tthey do intend to expand. They have very little in the way of heavy lifting cpapbilities and not that many Nukes. They have alot of people but how many can they move to occupy the ground they need to control something? The rest are more terrorist with Nukes then a true threat to the US. They can take a city or two down with nuclear weapons but the retalitory strike would bury them in a half hour.

I would say the Muslim countries. Muslims want to take over and rule the world no matter what condition it is in from a war with them. The others just want to continue to suck us dry of money/wealth.

I, too chose Russia. I agree that China has a huge population, but as an intimidating factor only. China is a huge manufacturing company, as the proof can be seen in one's retail stores...I don't know what is up China's sleeve when it comes to nuclear weaponry however...

But we have had issues with Russia before(Cold War). They tend to be fairweather friendly...Keep your enemies close, but your friends closer...

Russia seems to be the first one to backstab us...

A man should prefer his own company to that of others, because no matter where he goes,he'll find himself there..

Commiefornia....formerly known as California because whatever the DUmb liberals do or laws they pass eventually spreads across the U.S. like a virus.
