I can't pick just one.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Me either.
A liberal who is mugged by reality becomes conservative.

Please just pick the one that you favor the MOST above all the others. Like if you could have one of them come true, and only one.

I had to go with making all states "right to work states".

So did I. It would resolve some of the other issues.

Yeah, me too...the others are possible ways to handle some issues with programs that aren't necessarily bad or problems in themselves by nature, but Closed Shop laws are basically institutionalized theft and political corruption.

In a perfect world, I would have gone with that as well, but considering that the states can either enforce or eviscerate those right-to-work laws based on the party in power, I'd say that if you saw all of our states go to RTW (and NH barely missed overriding Lynch's veto last week) you're still not going to see a huge difference in those formerly closed shop states until the unions and the politicians they pander to/bribe/vote for are brought to heel.

Hence my choice for no bennies for druggies.

My thinking is that "right to work" would sooner or later kill the the private sector unions. I think they would be history already if it weren't for the strength of public sector unions backing them.

Oh, believe me, not even close.  My parent company is in Flori-DUH, which is a RTW state, and the IBEW is firmly entrenched in the utility industry there.  Here in NH, a closed shop state?  Not so much.  The difference between some IBEW locals and the union I'm in is virtually night and day.
