The incident occurred at the restaurant on West 3rd Street in the early morning of October 12, and seemed to begin when the cashier questioned a $50 bill the women gave him, according to the video.

The two women responded by hurling obscenities at McIntosh. One of them then appeared to reach over the counter and slap his face, the video showed.

From there, one woman was seen climbing over the counter, sending the cashier running toward the kitchen area. The other woman is then seen walking around to join her friend.

The two women suffered lacerations to their head and face and were taken to a hospital, police said. One of the women suffered a fractured skull and a broken arm, according to a complaint filed by the DA's office

I'd love to shake young Rayon's hand.  Talk about a bitchslap to trash.  If this were the consequence of disgusting, criminal behavior more often, we would most likely see quite an upswing in politesse.

As always happens in these cases, I'm left wondering what the outcome would have been had the McDonald's employee been white.  Kind of hard to allege racism when they're all black though. :whatever:

IIRC the McD employee is a rehabilitating felon.

He faced serious blowback if this had gone against him.

Wrong.  I'm about as upstanding as you can get and I absolutely HATE the cameras everywhere thing.

Ever gotten a red light camera ticket?  I know a guy personally whose daughter got one.  Only she wasn't the one driving.  The valet was but she couldn't fight it.

*I* got a red light camera ticket only I wasn't driving.  My son went through a red light in a truck that was registered to me.  I didn't even know I could appeal it until the 10 days were long over.  Had a cop pulled him over there is a fairly good chance he would have let him go due to the circumstances but even if he wrote him a ticket it wouldn't have been mailed to me.  He would have given it to him on the spot written on HIS drivers license.

Nope, I can't go with the cameras everywhere if your law abiding meme.

By the way, I'm about to do my last day of grand jury duty tomorrow and I've watched a ton of videos over the last 6 months.  Some of them were helpful but most of them were really not necessary.

Agree fully with ya, KC, but not because I've been tagged with camera-based tickets.

I just don't care for the Big Brother thing. Everywhere you go, somebody's watching you. I wonder if the person who is actually watching the tape gets grossed out when I scratch my ass on camera?  :whatever:

I'm with you Euph.  I don't like them on principle but those are just examples of how you can get tagged and still be a law abiding citizen.
