Omaha Steve
They say I asked for free Packer tickets last year on the DU. I asked for reasonably priced tickets to the NU-Wisconsin game & the Packer-Denver game.
You asked for two tickets at a reasonable price to the college game. You did not ask for two tickets at a reasonable price for the pro game, you just said you could use two tickets. See...
I'd love to be in Madison, Wi on Oct. 1. NU will be there to play the Badgers. I'm asking for help finding two tickets at a reasonable price.
IF there is an NFL season by then, I could also use two tickets to the Packer game that Sunday.
Words mean things. Because you asked for reasonable tickets for the college game does not automatically mean you had the same intention for the pro game. If that was your intention, you would have stated that being the case.
In fact, if you couldn't afford to make it to Madison without outside assistance, saying you wanted to pay for tickets would have been money you could have used to help pay your own way. Face it, you wanted the ride and the tickets. What fools would vote for someone who would ask others to pay his way and then claim to have money to pay a "reasonable price" for a sporting event, even going to far as to say they could "use two tickets" for another game? I'll tell you who; the type of fools who don't care if someone can't manage their own money in order to pay their own way, but would rather they use it on some frivilous sporting event. IOW, other idiots like you.
Save your $50. No doubt the Nebraska Kidney Foundation fully understands that given the choice between using your own money to help them or saving your money to spend on your own indulgances while asking others to pave the road to take you there, they'd prefer you just think of yourself.
