This times a million. You hear about this nonsense every year. I guess most are just stupid.

And if it counts for anything my waffle maker was 2$, it's also about 70 years old. I picked it up at a junk shop. I doubt a 2$ waffle maker from walmart will last 10 years.

My fella and I were at one in MI. The ridiculousness there seemed to be over discounted video games for the Kinnect system. Everything else was very orderly, but the lines sucked ass. A wait for about 45 minutes for the electronic item one got a voucher for(ie there was no reason to stand in line if you didn't get a voucher to get this item and there was no fighting over electronics since it was done by a voucher system) and then about a 2 hour wait in line to get to the register to pay once you had said electronic item in hand. We both are on budgets though so it was worth it for these two items. We would probably wait again for bigger ticket items done in an orderly fashion like this, but a 3 buck waffle maker? It's far more worth it to pay an extra 10 bucks and get it normally OR like others have said look for one second hand. They will have deals through the year for probably just a few bucks more for hte same damn thing in a few months no doubt.

From when I was a kid the comments would have been, "They ain't had no raise'n".

Meaning they haven't been taught how to behave in public.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
