Oh come on now, Boudicca. It was involuntary manslaughter. After all....that's so much better.  :whatever:

The only thing that makes him better than Casey Anthony is that it wasn't a little girl in his case.

10. Let them. Teddy cheated on his wife, nothing more.

OK - you're in a car, having fun, and you end up in the water. This can happen easier than you think. He survives, she does not. Is that his fault?

Since he was driving -- and drunk at the time -- yes.

Idiot.

I've long believed that the Kopechne family are just as contemptible as Dead Ted.

They allowed the Kennedys to buy them off in less time than it took their daughter to suffocate.

I wasn't around at the time so I'm not familiar with any settlements or payoffs they might have agreed to.

The only good thing about Dead Ted is the Dead part.

Worms gotta eat.

They had to wait for a while until enough alcohol leached out of his carcass so they COULD eat.   :lmao:

Ted Kennedy, youngest male in the family was well taught by two older brothers and his dad Old Joe, not to mention his sisters husbands.

Perhaps the most interesting brother in that family, could be because he out lived them by 40+ years.  He may have owed his life to Mary Jo as if he had a serious shot at the WH, he would have been next.

He did what he could to become a father figure to dozens of nieces and nephews, teaching them how to survive scandal and prison.    That one nephew that  he managed to keep out of prison for 25-30 years for the murder he committed as a teenager, Then the Nephew that raped a woman on his front lawn, who after a night of hard drinking with him and friends is now a DOCTOR practicing somewhere.

We can go on and on here, he had to handle  everything bad that happend to his family from drug over doses to stealing His mothers pain medicine, reckless behavior, etc.  Then the biggest tragedy in his life the loss of Young John Kennedy and the canceling of his nieces wedding.

This gave rise to the middle class thanking God we did not come from a rich and powerfull family. His life made most of think that if this is what money and power gets one in life, NO THANKS.

One of the most interesting men in politics, his evening runs on the beach stark naked, His poor wife that he drove insane, Quite a colorfull character, one in a million, yet he had his fans ready to over look his transgressions and keep him in office.

No one of the sane would trade places with anyone in that family, we thought there was a Curse on the family.

Only one to escape is Caroline Kennedy so far.  Who knows, watch the news, the Curse is still there.

St. Teddy: Patron saint of drunken underwater car drivers.

...and a St. Teddy's medal would probably be either a carp or a catfish.

"The only thing he did wrong was cheat on his wife"
AND drive drunk, getting a woman killed,
AND try and cover it up,
AND more recently torpedo a proposal to install offshore wind power mills, on the grounds that they'd be built in a section of the ocean where he liked to go yachting.
Shall I go on?

Well, I can't disagree with the lardass Dead Ted on the windmills. They are, without exception, nothing but huge boondoggles against the taxpayers.

But when he left that girl in an air pocket in a sunken car, to slowly suffocate over a span of maybe an hour, he secured his place for an eternity in Hell.

Ted Kennedy was a murderer, plain and simple.  Compared to that, I suppose you could characterize lying, scamming, drunken public debauchery, cheating on his wife and so on as "minor flaws".  :bird: :fuelfire:

He was a disgusting pig of a man who never bothered to admit he left Mary Jo in that car to die.  I wonder how many of his professed fans would have been okay had he done that to THEIR daughter.

I'm surprised no one over there has suggested his plunge into the water with Mary Jo was simply a botched baptism.

Eh, those people don't believe in baptism, or hell, or anything that smacks of Christianity.  Now, if you want to verbally fellate Islam, Buddhism, Satanism, Wicca, etc., they're all ears.
Yeah, I do apologize for the fellate word with you, and all the other refined ladies of CC.  But it's late and I can't honestly think of any other description of what they do with religions other than the JudeoChristian one this country was founded on.
Sneaking into a country doesn't make you an immigrant any
more than breaking into someone's house makes you part of the family.
