Nadin goodness again
« on: November 25, 2011, 09:48:47 AM »
As I am nadin's unofficial CC advocate I really want her to win the DOTY. I think she deserves it. She's went out of her way to educate entertain the world this year. I do have a concern. The concern is that she has still not used her vast knowledge of everything to lecture DU and the occupy movement on sanitation. Until that happens I can NOT vote for her. With that in mind I decided to do a DU search that would (1) help me determine if she has already posted such a lecture and we missed it, and (2) find a suitable replacement for my vote if she has NOT posted such a lecture. During my search I came across this post: DUmp link

So you don't have to waste time reading the entire DU thread I think it talks about some FOX article or some such and the 2010 DOTY winner posts something from the comment section of the FOX article (see below).

Kids would do betting in school if their parents weren't so lazy and dependent on the government.

Why aren't you teachers preparing for tomorrow's lessons? You are here whining and claim you are always grading papers or preparing lessons. Are you one of the lazy teachers who only want to complain.

They probably already called for substitutes, and the state will pay for both. What a deal when the taxpayers pay for it.

Take a hike moron, you're not worth a argument. Nice teacher!!

Just don't reply to this group, just troublemakers is all they are.

AND STILL THE FLOW OF FAKE TEACHERS CONTINUES, MAN THIS IS A HOOT.
I HAD TO WALK TO SCHOOL IN THE DARK IN THE SNOW WITH NO SHOES AND CARRING ALL OF MY STUDENTS ON MY BACK.

Now we at Gretawire know what a flash mob is like.

After which the queen of internet grammar and spelling appears.

43. Shoud I include standard editor markings?

Or that be too complex for these guys and gals?

If you got an I-thingy, yes there is an app for that...very useful too.

Has editor been add to the nadin resume yet?

Granted, she appears to have left the word "would" out of her second sentence, but it gets better. While continuing my search I came across another DU thread (DU link) that was started by the internet grammar and spelling queen/editor. Below is one of the posts from said thread.

7. I am coveting tomorrow's event

at the bridge.

I ALMOST expect to get a whiff of tear gas or pepper spray...

Oh here

Is the internet grammar and spelling queen/editor "coveting" the event or "covering" the event? Who knows, but a DUer caught it.

I rather suspect that Nadin, not being nearly as smart as she thinks, is illliterate in at least five languages.

One of them, being American English.
She won't be getting my vote.

I'm not sure that Einstein was as smart as Nadin believes herself to be.

Thanks. It is funny, but you also know it's true. Imagine Einstein joining DU for some reason and having an exchange with nadin. I have no doubt that it would go something like this...

nadin: I know you murkins aren't taught this in physics class but it is true that E=mchammer.

Albert_E: I'm sorry, but you are mistaken about the formula.

nadin: I know these things. Apparently you don't. You really need to read the paper On the Electrical Dinomytes of Moving Bodies. It will show you that E=mchammer.

Albert_E: You've now made a mistake on the paper in question, and the title of the paper that you do name is incorrect.

nadin: I know these things!!!

Albert_E: I'm sure you believe yourself to know these things. I, on the other hand, really do have more than a passing knowledge of the paper entitled On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies and more than a passing knowledge of E = mc2 which is discussed in the paper entitled Does the Inertia of a Body Depend Upon Its Energy Content?

nadin: You need to check the Google! E=mchammer!

Albert_E: What if I just checked my notes? Or maybe even gave you my original drafts of the papers?

nadin: That's it. You can't be learned so you're going on ignore!

H5! She'd post that as her "proof" that she was correct. Of course it looks like she left off the squared part.
“Don’t vote for the person who tells you you deserve something. Just don’t do it if it’s something other than life, liberty, or the pursuit of possible happiness. If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

I'll wager Nadin squeaked through college on Cliff's notes. Cliff Clavin's notes.  :lmao:

It just dawned on me after see that. Nadin is some scientifically created merging of Cliff Clavin and the Dos Equis most interesting man in the world.
