When I heard John Wayne Gasey was painting clown pictures for sale in prison, I debated if I should buy one to hope it would increase in value after he died. I justified it by thinking it would become a part of history,
a most unusual conversation piece for guests to think about. After thinking about what would I do with such a Macarb object, I gave up on the idea of sending him $100.00 for the 10x12 painting.
Silly me, collectors now pay up the nose for his clown paintings. I wonder if Stephen King bought a few.
As I mentioned our home grown serial killer Sheila Lased sold decks of cards with her autograph for $5.00 each
waiting trial in Jail. Most of her Jailers bought them and quite a few short time prisoners did also.
People collect the darnedest things from people that are fly by night, to the famous, up to the napkin OBAMA used to wipe his mouth at a dinner.
Some folks find collecting People are more interesting to them then once owned objects by them. Much easier to collect the people that are EVIL and living, then a pair of shoes they wore. Correspondence with a monster is much cheaper then buying a letter or signature from a dead hero. Definitely more interesting.
Problem is when these collectors meet in person the Monsters and find they may, just may have allot in common with them. They begin in some way to identify with them, much like a mother or father that refuses to blame their child for screwing the neighbors Poodle.
Now here is where I wonder just what is going on in the heads of prison officials that allow conjectural visits for prisoners enabling them to spend a few days in private areas to have sex with family members or boyfriends or girlfriends of either sex.
Some of these mass murderers in prison for life marry after incarnation and their wives produce children from them. How on earth does this happen ?????
