Gimme.
Greedy bastards.
Depends on where in the country you live Carl.
I live in a Donner town, I had no idea when I bought my home.
What a Donner town is, one with enough Millionaires living in town say 3-5 of them and a small town with perhaps 3,000 people middle class and under live there. Taxes on the wealthy are sky high. Lots left in the town coffers for improvement.
Along comes State Government GEE WIZ you have quite a bit of money, the schools are all set are doing well.
However there is a town we will not name that needs funds. We need your town to become a Donner to this unnamed town in our state.
Question is , when the lottery was voted in, was not the reason the gains would go to the schools in the state.
Did we not allow the lottery's to come in as their selling point was the benefits of the poor school districts ???
Today the lottery is a benefit for those that run it. Today my tax bill has $1500 added to it as we are a Donner town and sending [ they say we are ] money to an unnamed town some where else in NH.
Crap, no way to find out where the education funds from the lottery are going or where my town taxes are going.
Taxes. no State Taxes in NH, grand --live free or die----But beware of moving into a Donner town----rent do not buy.
