Today I am cutting up my vegetables for my stuffing and making my chicken broth

It is a lazy day and I find that "fresh" produce doesn't last as long as it used to...and don't want to take the chance it is unusable, so it is going in the freezer.

One thing about making chicken stock....I have started using ALL of the stuff I used to throw away...onion peels, etc...and I LOVE making my broth!

The flavor is amazing!

Naw, everybody does something like that from time to time. I scorched some squash in the oven the night before last, and the whole house still had a faint smoky odor this morning.

This is the first year that DUmmy hippywife (one of a select group of DUmmies who misspelled their username during registration) hasn't been around to remind us that she and cannibal Bill don't "do" Thanksgiving.

Curious, I looked up what Warpy was making.  Emeril had a recipe; it takes 3-1/2 hours to do, a gigantic kitchen would be required, and it takes 2 cans of hominy.  Think I'll pass.  Anyway, I just wanted to bring over something from the comments section at Emiril's site, especially for GOBUCKS.
