With thanks to dixiegrrrl "FREEREPUBLIC.COM IS WORTH $68.00"
On another thread, dixiegrrrl posted a link to http://stimator.com /

This site valuates online websites, so I decided to see what FR is worth.

The results:

freerepublic.com is worth $68. This makes freerepublic.com the 5,120,108 most valuable site on Stimator.com.

freerepublic.com scored 210 for Page Rank, 50 for Backlinks, and 1,245 for Traffic Volume.

Also, freerepublic.com scored 1,156,000 for Social Bookmarking, 230,660 for Directory Inclusion, and 25,075 for Domain Value. Overall, freerepublic.com has performed Poorly on our site valuation analysis.

DU, for comparison:

Things that just make ya smile....

Last I checked, 170 million > 14 million.

NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

I just checked.

conservativecave.com "does not exist" in their findings.

Our old home, conservativeunderground, however does.

We're not famous yet, but we're getting there.

Don't ever believe a political site, I.e. FR, is #3 in the site's worth. Think of ALLLLL the other sites out there that are much more valuable and have more exposure like Facebook, Yahoo, Google, Microsoft, Foxnews, Drudgereport, hell, Redtube, Youtube, etc.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

And riddle me this.  After looking up the Drudge Report, a site with a hell of a lot more traffic than DU or FR, the results are, well, odd.
You see, I don't care you how feel.  I really don't.  More importantly, neither does anyone else.  Only about 200 people on a planet of 7 billion actually care about your feelings, and that's if you're lucky.  The sooner you grasp this lesson, the better off you will be.  And since almost no one gives a damn what you do, say, think, or feel, appealing to your feelings when you encounter differences of opinion is not only illogical, but useless.

The moron probably erroneously typed in "freepubiclicks.com" the first time. Freudian slip, you might say.

Of course, anyone with two complete neurons and a working synapse knows that FR is much bigger than DU, and would have double checked such an odd number to save themselves some embarrassment. But like the village idiot who keeps sucking his own drool back in, DUmmies are too stupid to be embarrassed. They just give a little "hyuck-hyuck-hyuck" and keep right on going to the next self-pwning moment.

That's what I thought, when I tried "drudgereport.com".

I think it's silly and irrational.  The only determinant of value is what the market's willing to pay for something.

Nobody, but nobody, would pay $14 million for Skins's island.

On the other hand, probably anybody'd pay much more than what the drudgereport is "worth" according to that site.

Sounds like a bullshit site that spits out a bunch of random numbers in order to generate traffic for advertising.

We get spammers here that do the same thing on a smaller scale.  They load their profiles up with links to those kind of websites and make one or two innocuous posts hoping that someone will click on it and buy something.  The late, unlamented masterwarner was one of them.  He was smart enough to wait until after he had registered to fill up his profile with garbage before posting something.  Normally, if they load for bear before they start a thread, it makes them easier to spot.
If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.
