Ann Arbor......

I know, I know, but it's just my perverse sense of humor, giving the wrong location.
It's a subtle jab at states that have more than one college football team.
Back when I was younger, I once introduced a guy from Mississippi, one of the first authentic southerners I'd met in my life (I was a teenager then), telling others he was a graduate of the University of Mississippi.
He actually got somewhat offended (but not irretrievably so), as he was a graduate of Mississippi State University, which he insisted was superior to the University of Mississippi.
You got Florida, you got Florida State.....you got North Carolina, you got North Carolina State.....you got Kansas, you got Kansas State.....you got Michigan, you got Michigan State.....you got Iowa, you got Iowa State.....you got Oklahoma, you got Oklahoma State.....geezuz, you even got South Dakota and South Dakota State, and North Dakota and North Dakota State, a couple of small states with barely enough resources to finance one major academic institution, much less two.
I dunno why other states just can't combine all together, for a single "University of ....."
It's just my sense of humor, mostly in real life, to deliberately confuse a "University of ....." and "..... State University," just to see what sort of reaction it elicits. One after all is sometimes starved for diversion and amusement.
