 I believe Alan Keyes got 3% of the African American vote. Also, doesn't that presuppose that African Americans vote for a candidate because of he or she is the same color as them. Not only is that insulting but it's something they accuse African Americans of doing.

Don't forget "Freezer" Jefferson.

BO picked up the black vote just because of skin color.
BO also picked up white votes because many feared being tagged as racist.
An HC vs BO line up would allow the blacks to vote their politics, not skin color.
Same for overly sensitive whites.

That's not the point. We conservatives look at Cain as being aligned with our views and a past successful track record of economic and business acumen.

I think Cain will resonate with some Blacks, but the majority? no way, and that's really sad, because all Blacks have to do is look at their lives and ask themselves if their lives have improved in the 5 decades they've been voting for Democrats.
