I won city council in Ohio!

I dont mean to brag but I am really excited. It came down to me and a Tea Party guy (this is in Boehner's district). The tea party guy didnt participate in the debates nor newspaper interviews...but he did put up a lot of signs and had a lot of mindless drones supporting him.

I beat him by less that 20 votes. One person in town emailed me with a quote I gave to the paper on how I am pragmatic and diplomatic. She said that was why she voted for me.

OMG the part in bold seriously has me LMAO  :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

Liberals have to disguise their ideas in order to win, just look at all the whoppers 0bama had to tell about 0bamacare, and he still didn't fool most people.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

City council?

What do they do again?  Nothing important I am sure.  Congrats anyway, DUmmie.

ZERO Bong.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Here's the Montgomery County election results. Anyone know his real name?

He claims he's from Dayton in the profile, but he could be from any one of many smaller cities in the area. Dayton doesn't have any "council" positions, unlike many other cities. I'm curious as to why he doesn't put out his real name since he's now a bigshot Democrat "playa".

I actually would like to follow up on this. Not to harass, but find out the real scoop on his "win."

Probably unopposed.

According to his post he did have an opponent, but it wasn't an opponent who did any campaigning. The opponent did allegedly put up "a lot of signs" which probably means the opponent had a sign or sticker on his personal vehicle. Despite this, the non-campaigning candidate still only lost by less than 20 votes. Based on this I think you and I probably almost defeated the DUmmie for the council and we weren't even on the ballot.

So, let me guess, you spent $$$$ the other guy did not.  You ALMOST had a tie where you could have claimed voter fraud, spent taxpayer monies buying up dead peoples votes and had the election handed to you.

That's mole meat.

I don't believe a word of it.

Thinking of which.
We haven't heard much from OmahaSteve in quite a while.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”
