I voted today

Sure, there was only a single issue on the ballot, a school millage raise. I don't care.

I still voted.

I couldn't vote to get rid of my Republican congress critter this year. I don't care.

I still voted.

I couldn't vote to keep another *******ed Republican from taking over the White House again this year. I don't care.

I still voted.

Whether it's an off year or not, as long as I have the privilege of voting, I'm going to take it with both hands.

I care about voting.

My vote counts... And I'm damn sure that I'll be the one to guarantee that fact.

WTF is your point?  :whatever:

Don't think so.

This post was semi-coherent and way, way too short.

I voted today, too.

I voted to kick more of the obama supporting, job killing, tax raising demorats out of our state senate.

I voted to keep my republican delegate in our state house (even if she was running unopposed).

[DUmode on]
I voted because I know my vote counts more than yours, thanks to Diebold!   :-)

Redstone voted as well.

I didn't know he was from Chicago.

Doesn't matter anyway anymore.  All he needs is a "D" after his name.

I voted too, MrScorpio.  You know who won across the board in my neck of the woods?  All R's and Cons's.

In New York, MrScorpio.

That.  Is.  All.

Redstone voted as well.

Several times in several different states.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
