“If it’s a routine matter, they don’t have to bring it to us. We never got it, so it was a routine matter.”

You really can't rule anyone out here.   Romney, Perry or the sleazy DNC hacks who want to make it look like Romney or Perry.

I noticed that Cain's chief of staff backed off of the Perry accusations yesterday.  Romney . . . I wouldn't put it past his people, as I pointed out a couple of days ago.  I also think the Rahm Emanuel angle is worth exploring.
