Seems to be a thread full of attacks and anti-Christian biogtry on behalf of some particularly virulent atheist members.

is this acceptable? It seems that anti-religious sentiment is tolerated here and I'd hope it's not.

One recalls a question by the mike_c primitive, in which he asked my fellow alum why he didn't have the "right" to bash Christians, because mike_c is part of the "rational logical right-thinking" elite whose observation, evaluation, and judgement of things is perfect and Omnipotent.

1. I prefer to stay out of the DU religion wars.

But my impression is that the OP is not attacking Christianity in general, but rather attacking a satirical tea-party-style version of it.

It just seems odd that any debate about religion, any THREAD, good or bad devolves into bashing said religion(9 times out of 10 even if it's not about it, some posters manage to bash Christianity).
